9 A*Teens Music Videos That Will Take You Back To The Early '00s

🎶 Upside down / Bouncin' off the ceiling 🎶

What happens when you put together a group of four talented Swedish teens and make them sing ABBA songs? Pure pop magic, courtesy of the A*Teens.

The group remixed and modernized ABBA's disco-glam tracks to appeal to a younger generation. So yeah, your mom was actually kinda stoked that you played the A*Teens's version of "Dancing Queen" on your HitClips over and over again. The group's songs were featured on Nickelodeon and Radio Disney in the early 2000s, and they toured with both Aaron Carter and Britney Spears. (If you attended Aaron's Party Tour, you are #blessed.)

The A*Teens disbanded in 2004, but members Marie Serneholt, Amit Paul, Dhani Lennevald, and Sara Lumholdt publicly reunited last year on the set of Let's Dance (the Swedish version of Dancing With The Stars) to support Marie as she tangoed to A*Teens track "I Promised Myself."

From covers of ABBA to their original pop tracks, here are some of the most essential A*Teens videos.

"Upside Down"

"My teacher says to concentrate / So what? His name was Peter the Great."

"Floorfiller"

Confirmed (by me): Most lit track of 2002.

"Sugar Rush"

Bubblegum pop at its finest.

"Dancing Queen"

(Psst -- that is Paul Gleason, the principal from The Breakfast Club.)

"Super Trouper"

The moves. The blue eye shadow. So much yes.

"Halfway Around The World"

An uplifting long-distance relationship jam.

"Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)"

That 1999 fashion, though.

"Can't Help Falling In Love With You"

A*Teens covered Elvis for the Lilo & Stitch soundtrack.

"I Promised Myself"

For the group's final record, they looked back on their old hits and favorite videos -- a meaningful and unique way to go out.
