Drake Threw One More Shot At Hot 97 During His Final NYC Tour Stop

Couldn’t resist

Drake's war of words with Hot 97 continued on his way out of New York City on Monday night (August 8).

The fourth night of his Summer Sixteen Tour in the Big Apple was littered with big-name guests — and Aubrey used it as ammo in his ongoing tiff with the station.

"This was the real Summer Jam," he told the crowd, after J. Cole, T.I., Cam'ron, Juelz Santana, Fat Joe, and Remy Ma all touched the stage — in addition to co-headliner Future. "What have they done for New York lately? I don't know."

The latest jab comes after a week of back-and-forth, primarily between Drake and Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex. Their issues go back longer — to when Flex sided with Meek Mill in his feud with Drake last summer — but were reignited last week.

Onstage on Thursday, Drake rapped: “They tellin’ lies on Hot 97, that’s how it goes / I told ’em fire Funk Flex, then I’ll come and do your show / Plus, me and Kanye, we just left out the studio / My first night in the Garden, I’m feeling like D. Rose.”

Flex fired back on the airwaves on Saturday, and then Drake hit back onstage. And there's probably more to come. But let's put the war of words aside for a second and focus on Drake's self-proclaimed Summer Jam.

When he brought out Cole, he called him "one of the smartest, greatest, most legendary artists of our generation. Period."

Cole, of course, performed too, as did T.I., Cam'ron, Juelz Santana, Fat Joe, and Remy Ma.

Summer Jam or not, this looks like it was a night to remember.
