Get A Sneak Peek Of The 'Deadpool' Script, Complete With Character Notes And Doodles

The 12 Days Of Deadpool continue with the best annotated script page ever.

The producers and marketing team for the upcoming "Deadpool" movie are having tons of fun advertising their film. First, they dropped the perfect teaser trailer ever — aka, the trailer for the trailer. Then, they released a red band trailer that didn't hold back any of Deadpool's ~charming~ persona. And how could anyone forget about the time Deadpool massaged Conan O'Brien's body, or when he cursed out a bunch of kids dressed as X-Men characters?

Now, the clever marketing folks are at it again, this time revealing a page of the script, complete with Deadpool's own commentary about the scene at hand. As part of the 12 Days of Deadpool , the official "Deadpool" Twitter shared this f--king awesome gift for all us fans anxiously waiting for February 12, 2016.

The script page is a fight scene between Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds), Colossus (Andre Tricoteux) and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand). As Deadpool starts wailing on Colossus, the member of the X-Men turned his skin into steel, thus causing our antihero to break both of his wrists and ankle. Whoops.

But what's more impressive than reading an excerpt of the script is seeing the character's, um, notes scribbled all over the page. There's a hangman game, drawings of a taco and a bloody knife, general questions and plenty of sexual innuendos. (He is nicknamed "Merc with a Mouth," not "Merc with G-Rated Humor.")

Reynolds shared the annotated script on his own Twitter page, captioning it, "Somebody's a precious little doodle-bug." We couldn't have said it better ourselves, Ryan.

The 12 Days of Deadpool began Monday (Dec. 14) and will culminate with a brand new "Deadpool" trailer on Christmas Day. If you've been completely out of the loop on this event, don't worry — we're here to help prevent a deadly case of FOMO from breaking out. Here are the first five gifts from Father Deadpool, with the sixth one being the script page.
