Ed Sheeran, making fans dreams come true one day at a time.

The singer was just strolling through a mall in Edmonton, Canada, with Rixton, the band that's opening for him on the Canadian leg of his tour, when he heard a young girl singing his song, "Thinking Out Loud."

Being the good guy that he is, Ed decided to join 13-year-old Sydney Bourbeau, who was performing in a fundraiser for her music school.

While most of us would be drowning in a pool of our own tears if this happened to us, Sydney kept it together and kept on singing.

“I was like, should I stop? I didn’t want to stop, but I wanted to talk to him,” Sydney told the Edmonton Journal. “This is, like, the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”

Sydney, who thought Ed was just someone coming up to adjust her mic at first, sang one verse with the star before they exchanged hugs and she finished the song with the biggest smile ever.

Oh, and just when you think this story couldn't get any better, it does. Ed's manger reportedly got in touch with the teen and offered her two tickets to his concert.
