See How Drake Showed His Great Appreciation For A Texas Rap Legend
Drake is in the midst of his annual Houston Appreciation Weekend and today (May 22), he decided to honor a Texas legend.
Bun B, of the legendary UGK duo that also featured the late Pimp C, was the honoree. The Port Arthur MC later said he felt “blessed” to be honored by Drizzy at this event. And it was quite an impressive day.
Here’s a look at how Drake honored the P.A. icon.

You'll recall Drizzy and Bun actually go back. In 2008, Bun - along with Lil Wayne - appeared on "Uptown," a track off Drake's So Far Gone project.
In 2009, Drake and Bun teamed up again on Birdman's "Mo Milly" off Pricele$$.
Here they are again in 2009 at a Hot 97 function.
In 2010, they also collaborated on "Put It Down" off Bun's Trill OG album.
That wasn't their only collabo on that LP. They also worked together on "It's Been A Pleasure."
Also in 2010, Drake appeared in a posthumous Pimp C album with Bun B. That collab was "What Up."
Congratulations on the honor, Bun. You deserve it.
