Suge Knight Collapses In Court After Judge Sets $25 Million Bail

Things get worse for Suge.

Marion "Suge" Knight collapsed in court on Friday (Mar. 20) after a judge ruled that his bail be set at $25 million, while he waits to stand trial on murder and attempt murder charges.

"Just, bam. He's unconscious right now," the music mogul's attorney, Matthew Fletcher, told the Los Angeles Times.

The Death Row Records founder was in court in Los Angeles today for a bail review after prosecution asked the judge to up Suge's $2 million bail to $25 million. Suge was arrested for his alleged role in a hit-and-run in late January; he was charged with murder, attempt murder two counts of hit-and-run.

The prosecution presented an almost-300 page document to illustrate all of Knight's brushes with the law and to convince the judge to increase his bail amount. After the ruling, Knight collapsed. Deputy District Attorney Cynthia J. Barnes suggested the ordeal was a media play and said she believed Knight “did it in front of the cameras.”

This isn't the first time that Suge has fell ill in the courtroom. In February, he pleaded not guilty to the charges and suffered a panic attack while in a holding area close to the courtroom.

Then, during a hearing at the beginning of the month, Suge told Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Brandlin that he has not received the proper medical treatment while in custody and that he was blind in one eye, with only had 15% vision in his other.
