This has to the be final chapter in the Malia Obama and Pro Era saga.

Quick refresher: there's a photo of the President's daughter wearing a Pro Era t-shirt, which went viral after Joey Bada$$ posted it on the crew's Instagram page. After that, the White House allegedly launched an investigation to figure out how the photo got on the Internet in the first place.

Now, Joey wants to clear up a few things. First of all, he's sick of people asking him how it's possible that he didn't know who Malia Obama was at all -- when, in fact, he said that he simply didn't recognize her the first time he saw the photo. (That's fair enough, since the Obamas don't like their daughters getting too much exposure anyway).

As for that alleged investigation, Joey doesn't know for sure that it's true, but during a visit to Shade 45's "Sway in the Morning," he did say that his phone might be tapped.

“When you have the leader of the free world’s daughter wearing your shirts and all of that, I guess they start to investigate," Joey said. "They got my whole crib surrounded. I believe it. I don’t sleep. I hear the clicks in my phone.”

Hopefully that's not a real thing, because Joey only has love for the president.

"My moms votes for Obama so we ain't got no beef over here," he said, laughing. "It's all good."
