After an entire season of avoiding dating labels, Marie and Robb made their relationship official on last night's "Real World: St. Thomas" finale with a pair of matching silver bracelets. The pieces looked strong enough to weather the apocalypse, but sadly, we learned soon after the episode aired that the new couple's bond wasn't so strong, and Robb eventually let Marie go via text message (a-criiiiiiinge).

"I was really upset for awhile, but then I realized it was the best text I ever got," Marie told Maria Menounos at the show's reunion special. Robb claimed he dumped Marie because she'd developed into a different person who was ashamed of his beanie-wearing flare, but Marie called his defense a cop out, and said their breakup was just a testament to Robb's weak-mindedness. "He let everyone get to his head, and he forgot what our relationship really was," she said, while simultaneously fending off accusations that she was emotionally abusive to her ex.
