Miley Cyrus has always embraced a little help from her fwends. So we weren't surprised when pal Wayne Coyne visited her VMA rehearsal.

Miley is busy prepping her hosting gig at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards and The Flaming Lips frontman, who is a staple of MC's wild and crazy Instagram, shows up on Miley's snap from the set.

"hangin wiff meeesahhhh meeeee$$$$," she wrote in typical Cyrus jargon. Coyne's girlfriend Katy Weaver also posted a picture from rehearsal. Looks like they're having a productive day! "Flew into LA and this is what I walk into...." Weaver captioned the photo.

Weaver and Cyrus, who are good friends, were reunited in Los Angeles, where she gifted Miley with this pig butt hat. Hopefully she wears it during the show!

And of course, there was a party afterward. Coyne posted a pics of the onesie shenanigans early Tuesday morning (Aug. 25), writing, "Weird party at Cyrus' place..."
