Kanye West Gave Seth Rogen A 'Very' Intimate Listening Session For His New Album

If we could all be so lucky.

Just about every Kanye West fan is eagerly waiting to hear his new album. But there probably aren't many who actually have heard it -- and heard it in person, with Kanye rapping every word.

Seth Rogen has.

"Me and my wife had gotten some dessert and were in the lobby getting plates to bring back to our room...And Kanye was like, 'What are you guys doing? Want to hear my new album?'" Rogen said of a recent hotel run-in in the new issue of Rolling Stone, according to Consequence of Sound.

"So he takes us to this limo van and starts playing his album -- except there's no lyrics only beats. So he raps the whole album and after each song, he stops it, like ‘So what do you think?’"

"We were in the van for two hours!”

Rogen was a lucky fan, sure -- but 'Ye treating him to that unique experience wasn't completely out of the blue; the two seem to have gotten to know each other a bit over the last year.

In late 2013, the actor and his frequent collaborator James Franco parodied 'Ye's "Bound 2" music video -- with Seth playing Kim Kardashian and Franco as Yeezy. The rapper apparently liked "Bound 3" so much that he invited the two to perform at his wedding, though they collectively decided it "might not be the best idea."

The comedian, whose new movie, "The Interview," which also stars Franco, is out on Christmas Day, did have an appreciation for his unusual listening session -- and not just because he's a fan.

“Now I realize the next person he sees that he knows is getting pulled into that van,” he said. “But I learned a lesson from it, which is that Kanye is seeking input at all times. Processwise, it showed an openness and a fearlessness. We started screening our movies more and in rougher versions for our friends because of that.”
