Cheap Trick will release an updated version of their '70s

power-pop cut "Surrender" in MP3 format April 5 through "Getsigned.com."

The cut also will be released in August as part of the Detroit Rock

City soundtrack. "Surrender '99," said to be a "grunged-up" take on

the song, will be available for free download through April 11.
