Singer was reportedly threatening to cancel the tour if her kids couldn't come.

[article id="1601043"]Circus tour[/article] ticketholders, it looks like you can breathe easy again. A day after reports surfaced that [article id="1604060"]Britney Spears was allegedly threatening to pull the plug[/article] on her upcoming tour because she might not be allowed to bring her sons on the road. The singer's Web site confirmed that Jayden James and Sean Preston will be running off to the circus with her.

Though spokespeople for the singer had not returned requests for comment at press time, on Monday, Spears' official site posted the statement, "Britney is so excited to kick off her tour. She has been enjoying every moment of rehearsals and is looking forward to performing in front of a live audience again. Both Sean Preston and Jayden James will, in fact, be joining Britney throughout the duration of her tour."

Spears' ex, Kevin Federline, has primary custody of the boys, but at this point the singer reportedly has nearly 50/50 access to the toddlers, who will be along as she kicks off her first major tour in more than four years on March 3 in New Orleans.

TMZ, which initially reported the alleged threat to cancel the tour, said late Monday that "nothing has been signed" and that the deal to have the kids travel with Spears was not confirmed. "As for the dispute between K-Fed's lawyers and Britney re: taking the kids on the road -- a lot of progress was made today after our story broke," the site reported.

On Spears' Twitter blog, she wrote that she "checked out some sketches of costumes for the tour and rented 'Pride and Glory.' The costumes are crazy!" site also posted sketches of the tour's set, which includes three target-like circus rings, with a giant Circus banner behind them.

Designer Jamie King described the elaborate design as "sexy, fun, explosive, and full of surprises," adding, "while avoiding such traditional circus elements as live animals, we've created something innovative and exciting using contortionists, dancers, lighting, fire and other special effects."

King said the design was a collaboration with Britney that has "taken the idea of a traditional 'big-top circus' and given it a Britney Spears twist. This circus is unlike anything you've ever seen before. ... In the end, we just want fans to experience a unique and thrilling concert with Britney."
