SANTA MONICA, California -- Your pops don't like him, but B2K do.

Nick Cannon, the "Drumline" star and rapper behind "Your Pops Don't Like Me (I Really Don't Like This Dude)," has recorded a song with J-Boog, Lil' Fizz, Omarion and Raz-B, and will join them on tour this summer.

The collaboration, called "Feelin' Freaky" and produced by R. Kelly, will be the second single from Cannon's debut album, due August 5.

At Saturday's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, the star of his own Nickelodeon comedy ("The Nick Cannon Show") revealed the title of the release.

"Nick Cannon," he said. "Just simple like that, you know, so people can remember. You ain't got to get lost in the record store."

If anyone deserves the right to self-title his album, it's Cannon, who produced several of the tracks himself. That's not to say it won't feature a variety of guests.

"We got Nivea on a song that I did," Cannon said. "We've got the Trackmasters, Biz Markie. I worked with a lot of people on my album, so it's going to be big."

Perennial hitmakers the Neptunes have also said they're working with Cannon, although a spokesperson for the newcomer said the material may not appear on the album.

Cannon got his start in the entertainment business in the San Diego hip-hop duo Da Bom Squad, which opened for Will Smith and LFO.

After launching his TV show, he collaborated with Lil' Romeo and 3LW for a remake of DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince's "Parents Just Don't Understand" for the "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" soundtrack (see [article id="1450467"]"Britney, 'NSYNC, Aaron Carter Are Acts Of 'Genius' "[/article]), joined Nivea on her "Laundromat" single and contributed "I'm Scared of You" to "Drumline."

Rapping is Cannon's first love; he just happened to find success in acting first. After appearing in "Men in Black II" and starring in the surprise hit "Drumline," Cannon signed on for "If You Were My Girl," a remake of the 1987 romantic comedy "Can't Buy Me Love." Co-starring Christina Milian and Steve Harvey, the movie is due in December.

"You've always got to have something to fall back on just in case the music thing don't really work out," Cannon said with a wink. "I'm trying to stay musically focused [now]."

Cannon is looking at treatments for the "Feelin' Freaky" video and is preparing his live show for the Scream 3 Tour, which will also feature IMX's Marques "Batman" Houston (see [article id="1470122"]"Houston, We've Got Pandemonium: IMX Frontman, B2K To Launch Tour In June"[/article]).
