Logan's character is a "boy whose life dramatically changes as he learns about secrets buried deep in his past during his freshman year of high school" (and for those of you who haven't read the book yet, it's a pretty intense secret), so playing one of the parental units is a pretty tall order. Dylan joins Kate Walsh, who was announced as Logan's movie mom earlier this week.

One thing Dylan certainly has going for him is a strong family resemblance with his onscreen son. They have so much in common. That dark hair. Those strong jawlines. Those intense, brooding eyes. Now that's one family dinner we would not mind being invited to.

Add to that bundle of hotness the talented female leads (Emma Watson and Nina Dobrev? Yes, please!) and "Perks" is shaping up to be one of the projects we're most excited about.
