Even though Zayn Malik decided to part ways with One Direction, his fiancée, Perrie Edwards, is still very much a part of Little Mix -- and that's probably what we should be focusing on right now. You know, instead of pointing fingers.

Shortly before Zayn released his statement letting the world know of his future plans to be a "normal 22-year-old," the British group dropped a clip that features the girls in the studio recording a track.

The upbeat song, which will be featured on their upcoming third studio album, has the girls -- Perrie, Jade, Jesy and Leigh-Anne -- dancing and singing the lyric, "Gotta get him outta my hair."

Despite putting out tunes yesterday, Perrie has yet to comment on Zayn's departure from the band. He was previously caught holding hands with another girl, which may have been a factor as to why he left the 1D tour in the first place. Still, she has certainly fell victim to backlash from the Directioners.

Some are even saying that she is the modern day Yoko Ono, musician/artist/wife of the late John Lennon, who was blamed for breaking up The Beatles.

I'm going to go to bat here for my girl Perrie, though (who was actually spotted out wearing her engagement ring, btw, which means the pair are still very much together). While it may seem easy to make her a scapegoat for your pain, she's most likely not the reason Zayn quit the group. I mean, he just wants to be a regular guy out of the spotlight -- like he said.

It's not like Perrie forced him to pick her or the band or anything -- she totally understands fame being in a popular girl group. Also, I imagine she wouldn't welcome this type of fan backlash. The "stress" just probably got to Zayn and he wanted a break.

Oh, and one more thing, it wasn't Perrie's fault that he was holding hands with another girl...

So maybe let's take some advice from this fan and not jump to conclusions. Also, take my advice and listen to that teaser.
