Method Man Praises D'Angelo For Help On New Single

Method Man recently premiered the Hype Williams-directed video for his new single, "Break Ups 2 Make Ups," a cut that features the soulful talents of R&B crooner D'Angelo.

Because of scheduling conflicts, Meth and D'Angelo weren't able to record the track in the same studio together, partly because D'Angelo was working on his own new album, which is tentatively due out next month.

Even though they weren't able to hook up in person, Method Man told the MTV Radio Network that he is still a huge fan of the singer and his work

He's a peace brother," Meth said of D'Angelo, "and who better to put on a soulful track like that one besides D'Angelo, you know? Word. My man blew on it, too. Oh boy, can I say he shi**ed on it? 'Cause he shi**ed on it for real.

Meanwhile, Meth was supposed to arrive in Miami last night to prepare for today's Super Bowl Super Jam show, which will be hosted by L.L. Cool J and Brandy, and with featured performances from Jay-Z, DMX, Foxy Brown, Redman

and Montell Jordan.
