Kelly Cutrone Picks Her Favorite Moments From 'The City' Season Two

Plus, the People's Revolution boss describes what the season finale would look like if she were in charge.

Of course, we know [article id="1643499"]"The Hills" is ending[/article] on Tuesday night (July 13), but so is the second season of [url id="/shows/the-city/season_2/series.jhtml"]"The City."[/url] It's been a big season for Whitney Port and her pals, as well as her enemy, Olivia Palermo. As Whitney learns about life in the fashion fast lane, People's Revolution boss Kelly Cutrone says she's seen her protégé grow as a person and empower herself as a businesswoman.

"Whitney's definitely a different girl than she was and New York kind of helps," Cutrone told MTV News about her growth. "She's not the girl who she was from the Palisades."

There have been two big moments in Whitney's life this season that stand out for Cutrone. One is her now famous [article id="1637808"]confrontation with Palermo[/article], which Cutrone jokes was "like a wet noodle, but for Whitney, it was a good thing." And the other was her big [article id="1621191"]fashion-week debut in the season premiere[/article].

"For me, the thing that's really strange is that I've become really close to Whitney, so I wasn't anticipating that in real life," she recalled. "Whitney's become somebody that I'm totally committed to. ... So, when we got to her fashion show and we opened the season with me crying, that was a really big moment. Just crying and looking around and remembering her from L.A. I don't like it when people hide behind their dreams because they're afraid. It was clear she wanted to be a designer, so I wanted to help her step out."

As for how this season will end, Cutrone has her mob-movie-inspired idea: "Let's talk about how on Twitter, everyone wants me to kill Olivia Palermo," she said. "This is how I want the show to end, and I begged for this, just 'cause I thought it would be funny. So I thought it would be really funny if the season ended ... [with] each of us arriving [at a restaurant] in ridiculously rich transportation. Everybody would arrive, except for Olivia. And the camera would pan and you'd only be able to identify us by our accessories. Each person would say 'no,' and the show would end with Olivia at Bergdorf Goodman buying a ton of stuff and going 'Toodles!' and then -- bang! Everybody wants Olivia to say buh-bye."
