Reggae-punk rockers Rancid have been tapped to open Pearl Jam's

recently announced Sept. 22 concert in Miami, Fla.

Rancid will also open six shows for the Beastie Boys in September before

setting out on their own headlining tour, with traditional ska-sters Hepcat, in

October.

Dates for the October tour will be announced in the coming weeks.
