Celebrities are just like you. Whether they were out on the road or relaxing at home, their Fourth of July holidays were filled with good food, good friends and plenty of fireworks. Not convinced? Nicki Minaj celebrated while on tour in Denmark at the Roskilde Festival. "Celebrating the 4th w/my amazing team," Nicki added as part of a caption of a group shot. "They're trying to get me drunk but NO!"

And like any good American, Nicki wanted to end her performance with some barbecue? "Where's the barbecue?" she asked. "You really ain't get none?"

Like Nicki, Ciara was also overseas for the Fourth. The singer was in London for a performance at the Wireless Festival. Cici posed in from of a statue featuring women of World War II and rode a bike to celebrate.

Diplo also got into the festival spirit with a performance at the Eurockéennes festival in France. "Celebrating July 4 in solidarity with France," Diplo said on a photo featuring the producer shirtless and standing in front of a crow of thousands.

Back in the states, Ms. Party in the USA herself, Miley Cyrus, went all-out to celebrate the holiday.

Along with her American flag print shorts and bikini top, Miley also sported glittery red, white, and blue makeup. Like Taylor, her celebration included family members like older sister Brandi Cyrus and celeb pals including frequent collaborator Mike Will Made It and designer Jeremy Scott.

Madonna, who's on her Rebel Heart tour, took time to watch the fireworks. "Light up my life.............so blind i Can't see!" she wrote in one post.

She also posted a photo of her son Rocco with two man buns in his hair and super sweet shades on his face. "Independent in mind and spirit!," she added.

Miss Americana herself, Lana Del Rey, had something of a quiet Independence Day. She split her posts between her personal Instagram account and the Honeymoon account for her upcoming record.

At night, Lana watched fireworks from her window while laying down in bed.

Britney Spears went to the happiest place on Earth, Disneyland, to celebrate with her kids.

Meanwhile, Reese Witherspoon shared a little Southern hospitality for her holiday, creating an all-out feast featuring everything from red, white and blue paper straws to fried chicken.

"Happiest 4th of July!! #IndependenceDay 🇺🇸🎉🇺🇸🎉 Hope yours is filled with friends, family, fried chicken and lots of #RedWhiteAndBlue!" she said.

Speaking of actresses, who knew Kate Hudson had these singing chops? Kate posted a clip of herself singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" and seriously blew us away.
