Mobb Deep Films New Video With Nas; Taps Lil' Cease, Raekwon For LP

With Mobb Deep set to release its highly anticipated new effort, "Murda Muzik," next week, the rap duo of Havoc and Prodigy has just completed a video for the second single, "It's Mine," with director Hype Williams.

Featuring Nas both in the video and song, "It's Mine" was one of the new tracks that came about when Mobb Deep went back into the studio to cut additional material for a revamped version of "Murda Muzik."

As we previously reported, Mobb Deep opted to go back and add five more tracks after early versions of the album were heavily bootlegged prior to its original release date in April (see [article id="1432210"]"Mobb Deep Grows Up For 'Murda Muzik'"[/article]).

Like "It's Mine," Mobb Deep opted to enlist some of its friends for several of the other recently recorded tracks, which include Lil' Cease on "I'm Going Out," Raekwon on "Can't F**k Wit," and Lil' Kim on a remix of "Quiet Storm," the first single from "Murda Muzik." Rounding out the

new material is another cut, "Spread Love," that features only Mobb Deep.

"Murda Muzik" is due to drop in stores on August 17.
