Speidi Blew A Cool 10 Million In Fear Of Mayan Apocalypse

December 21, 2012, has come and gone, and we're all still here. Take that, Mayans! But for former "Hills" couple Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, the non-apocalypse was a bit of a buzz kill. The two are now facing monstrous credit card charges they racked up in fear the world was ending.

The UK's OK! reports that the "Celebrity Big Brother" runners-up blew their fortune after buying into all the eternal damnation hype. "We made and spent at least 10 million dollars," Spencer confesses to the magazine. "The thing is, we heard that the planet was going to end in 2012. We thought, we have got to spend this money before the asteroid hits." It's a shame coming in second place on "CBB" doesn't award any dough...they could use it right about now.

Despite being duped by the Mayans, the duo doesn't seem too worried about their debt. In the video below, the two speak about their new found love for England and their plans to move there -- into a countryside castle, obvs -- one day. Look out, Brits! The Americans are coming!
