O. M. Effing. G. We couldn't be more excited about Amy Schumer's announcement that she'll host the 2015 MTV Movie Awards! The "Inside Amy Schumer" and "Trainwreck" star took over MTV's social media accounts -- Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr and Snapchat -- Wednesday (Dec. 10) and, while delighting us with pictures, memes and other wonders, taunted us with her big reveal.

All we can say is: It was worth the wait.

Tonight was a real emotional journey. Let's relive the highlights, shall we?

First, she teased us.

Tantalizing!

She taught us how to be like her.

By wearing her face, of course. Aspirational!

She shared our struggles.

It happens to the best of us.

She toyed with our emotions, calling us "so basic."

We all know it's true, deep down. Sniff.

She won us over with cuteness.

D'aww.

She even bribed us.

Tempting...

And, finally, she gave us what we'd all been waiting for.
