Ariana Grande and Rihanna have taken opposite sides in the Great Pokémon Go Debate.

At a concert in France on Saturday (July 23), Rihanna sternly told her fans to put away their phones while she’s performing.

“I don’t want to see you texting your boyfriends or your girlfriends,” she said. “I don’t want to see you catching any Pokémons up in this bitch."

There you have it: Choose Rihanna or choose Pokémon, but you can’t be entertained by both at the same time.

Meanwhile, Ariana Grande has been hot on the Poké-trail. The singer posted a few of her catches to Instagram, including a rare Dragonair.

"A beautiful thing. Pokémon bringing people together all over the world,” she wrote. "Even though nobody's speaking to one another / everyone is walking into poles."

Oh, and if you were worried that no one had pasted Grande’s face onto her favorite Pokémon yet ...
