We've seen Tris Prior (Shailene Woodley) grow from a meek Abnegation girl in "Divergent," to a kick-ass action hero in "The Divergent Series: Insurgent." And now, with the third movie in the quadrology, "The Divergent Series: Allegiant," rapidly heading towards theaters on March 18, 2016, it's time to scale the walls and see what lies outside the ruins of Chicago.

Or, in case you're not totally caught up with the series, here's the gist -- which is also helpfully recapped in this first teaser. In an undetermined time in the future, the world has been split into four factions, each with a different personality trait. Except it turns out there's a fifth type of person, the Divergents. They have the ability to embrace multiple personality types; and as revealed to Tris, and the world in "Insurgent," her form of divergence is the key to unlocking a huge secret...

...The post-apocalyptic Chicago they live in is just part of a greater world. More people are alive, beyond the city walls. And most shockingly of all, they've been part of an experiment the whole time.

With that in mind, looks like Tris is literally climbing the walls to find out what's up, as the insane final scenes in the trailer prove. Oh, and also she has to save the world, as new key cast member Jeff Daniels helpfully explains.

Hey, it's a daunting task... But at least she's part Dauntless.
