Justin Bieber’s Song With Ed Sheeran Is One Of His 'Favorites’ Off 'Purpose'

JB is going 'back to his roots.'

It seems like Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber are brewing a bit of a bromance.

Ed recently wrote JB a little song for his "What Do You Mean" countdown.

In turn, Justin supported Ed at his concert doc premiere, “Jumpers For Goalposts,” and they shared this adorable moment together.

But their friendship has also taken a professional turn, as Ed lent his writing skills to Justin's upcoming album, Purpose.

"We wrote a song together and basically it's one of my favorites on the album," Justin revealed to Capital FM. "It's just me and a guitar and basically that's how I started. I started playing on the street with a guitar and so it's cool to go back to my roots."

Justin had only nice things to say about his "Thinking Out Loud" co-writer, whom he calls one of the "most talented writers in the game." He revealed that their collaborative writing style involved swapping stories about life.

"Just to have his input and have his stories and our stories, and being able to match them up together and say 'What have you been through?,' and telling the same story." Justin said. "And I think it's cool for him as well, because it always feels good when you write a song and someone else sings it, and he's just a real chill guy."
