Pink, Carey Hart Have Separated, Singer's Spokesperson Confirms

Announcement comes after Hart was photographed in a club with another woman.

After just over two years of marriage, Pink and Carey Hart are no longer a couple, the singer's rep told MTV News on Tuesday (February 19).

"They are separated," confirmed Pink's spokesperson Michele Schweitzer.

Pink (born Alecia Moore) and motocross racer Hart met at the 2001 X Games in Las Vegas and were an on-again, off-again couple prior to getting married, having broken up for a while when she was promoting her album Try This. While together, they shot a scene in 2002 for [article id="1457684"]:Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle."[/article] During an "off" phase in 2003, Pink was linked with rocker Tommy Lee and actress Kristanna Loken.

[article id="1505056"]Pink proposed in June 2005[/article] at one of Hart's races, and [article id="1519914"]the two married on January 7, 2006[/article], in a non-denominational ceremony in Costa Rica.

"I proposed, and he said yes, because he's smart," Pink told MTV News at the time. "The engagement has been interesting. It's an emotional time, but we're really happy and really excited, and I love him a lot."

After the wedding, Pink described their relationship as domestic bliss, joking that they weren't out on the town as much as they were nesting at home and enjoying each other's company. "We don't go out much," she told MTV News. "We're normal. We make it a Blockbuster night."

Their relationship was rumored to be in trouble last August, after Hart was accused of hooking up with an unidentified blonde at a Hollywood club while Pink was on tour in Europe. But in October, photos surfaced of Pink canoodling with her husband at a karaoke bar in Venice, California.

Before their separation was announced, Hart was photographed with an unidentified brunette at the Tabú Ultra Lounge in Las Vegas over the holiday weekend.

"The decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another," Schweitzer told People magazine. "While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger."

It was the first marriage for both Pink and Hart.
