The only person cooler than Selena Gomez? Her character, Alex Russo, on Disney Channel's "Wizards Of Waverly Place," duh. On the show, Alex is BFFs with the fashionable and spunky Harper Finkle, played by Jennifer Stone.

But IRL -- ya know, if Alex was actually a real person, not a character on TV -- we wish Alex was our BFF instead of Harper's. Here's why:

She's always honest.

When you ask her if your butt looks good in a new pair of jeans, she'll tell you the brutal truth -- that you need to return those pants, stat.

She's appropriately excited for all your life accomplishments.

Ace that exam? Get into your dream college? Snag a sweet summer job? She's always cheering you on.
