Nas, Foxy, A-Z To Stand Firm

September 3 [14:00 EDT] -- They have already appeared on each others albums as a collective, but now it's time for Nas, Foxy Brown, and A-Z to release their first group effort.

The group, known as The Firm, will soon deliver its first single, "Firm Biz," which features the aforementioned rappers plus Nature (also a card-carrying Firm-member) as well as former En Vogue singer Dawn Robinson. The song, which was produced by L-E-S for Trackmasterz, samples Teena Marie's "Square Biz" and should come spilling out of radios any day now.

The Firm plans to shoot a video for the track this weekend in New York City with mega-director Hype Williams.

The album, which will be released on Dr. Dre's Aftermath label, was produced by Dre himself along with The Trackmasterz.

Speaking about how the Firm came to be, Foxy told the MTV Radio Network, "We did it kinda differently... Every other crew started out as a crew and broke up and became solo artists. We started as solo

artists and then formed a crew. When we collaborate, it's all love.
