Diplo is responsible for spinning magic out of beats with Major Lazer, and the electronic trio has now succeeded in mashing up some of 2016's biggest sounds.

They've also managed to work in a bunch of visual surprises, cameos, and recreations of some of the most shocking images to accompany the most memorable hits of the last year, so, hey! It almost makes you think that the majority of 2016 wasn't a raging dumpster fire!

With some help from Fifth Harmony's “Work From Home,” Justin Bieber's “Sorry,” “Closer” from The Chainsmokers and Halsey, and visual cues from Kanye West's “Famous,” Beyoncé's Lemonade, and more, Major Lazer and Diplo succeed in mixing up all of the major pop culture and musical players of the year into one clip that clocks in at just under seven minutes.

Anything that fits Hodor, Pokémon Go, Hamilton, rainbow bagels, and Michael Phelps's mean mug with a killer soundtrack is cool by us. (But seriously, though. Fanny packs for everyone.)
