Dominic Cooper Moves to the 'Cities'

2011 was a big year for Amanda Seyfried's ex Dominic Cooper. The dark and handsome thesp starred in not one, but two roles in "The Devil's Double," as well as nailed the character of Howard Stark in the blockbuster "Captain America."

But it appears Cooper's just getting started — because word around Tinseltown is that he is set to replace Clive Owen in the international thriller "Cities." (Before you ask, Owen had to bow out due to scheduling issues.)

Helmed by "The Bank Job" director, Roger Donaldson, "Cities" is set just before the financial crash, with stories taking place all over the world that (presumably) are intertwined and (presumably) relate to finance.

Since Cooper is considerably younger than Owen-- # years to be exact—we can assume the role is neutral enough to swap those two stars out. Guess one can be an evil banker at any age.

If the deal goes through (which we really hope it does), Cooper will join an A-list cast that already includes Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst and "Slumdog Millionaire"'s Anil Kapoor, Cinema Blend reports. No word yet on when lensing will begin, but Dominic Cooper in a crisp suit and cufflinks is something we can't envision soon enough.
