Zendaya Slays The Stage (With Help From Bryan Cranston) In ‘Neverland’ Video

Watch this unexpected duo bring the dreamy ballad to life.

Zendaya may be moving full speed ahead on her forthcoming sophomore album, but before she releases any new original material, she’s lending her voice to Broadway.

The 19-year-old is featured on the companion album to “Finding Neverland,” a Broadway musical that follows the story of “Peter Pan” author J.M. Barrie. Her tender track “Neverland” was released last summer, but finally got the music video treatment on Monday (Jan. 25), allowing us to see Z slay the stage — with a little help from Bryan Cranston.

The “Breaking Bad” actor magically helps Zendaya enter an abandoned theater, where she promptly breaks into the beautiful ballad. Though she’s alone at first, the performance slowly builds into a full production, featuring “Dancing with the Stars” pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy and choreography by Ian Eastwood (who most recently choreographed Justin Bieber’s “Purpose: The Movement” video series).

Cranston’s mysterious character appears again at the end, doling out some valuable (but also kinda cryptic) advice in his dapper British accent. Will Zendaya listen? Watch the video below to find out.

Finding Neverland: The Album is available now and also features songs from the musical performed by Ellie Goulding, Nick Jonas, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend and Christina Aguilera.
