Pusha T Previews 'King Push' And Kanye West’s 'Swish'

The G.O.O.D. Music Prez is "only trying to deal in greatness."

Pusha T’s Darkest Before Dawn is gearing up for release, but the G.O.O.D. Music president is also excited about his next album, King Push. The project, slated for next year, is set to be much different from the darkness of its prequel.

King Push is a whole ‘nother thing,” the Clipse spitter told MTV News. "I would say that it’s a little bit more well-rounded. I just feel like you’ll see a little bit more range on King Push.”

Although Pusha's keeping some collaborators under wraps for now, the “Untouchable” MC did reveal some hints to us about who we can expect on it.

"I feel like I’ve got collaborators that haven’t been heard from in 18 years,” he said. "I just pulled out all the stops.”

Want another hint? Expect greatness.

"The title is so heavy,” he explained. "I’m only trying to deal in greatness. So, anybody on King Push is being classified as a great.”

King Push is due in April.

What we don’t know is when Kanye West’s new album will be released. Push doesn’t have an exact date, either.

"Kanye's really meticulous about how he speaks about his music,” he told us. "I’ma just say that y’all are in for a treat.

"I don’t know when Swish is coming," Push added. "He gets to work as long as he wants to, but everything I’ve heard is incredible. Everything. And it’s nothing like the records that he’s put out as of late and he’s really dialed in and he’s excited."
