If there's one thing Nicki Minaj is EXTREMELY good at (besides making music), it's being absolutely fearless when it comes to fashion. Just this weekend at the VMAs, she experimented with a candy raver-inspired ensemble complete with a surgical mask that left some people scratching their heads in confusion. But Nicki makes it pretty obvious that she doesn't care WHAT her critics say in the October 2011 issue of Glamour. She said, "I'm comfortable in my skin, and I don't feel the need to change for anyone. We all have insecurities, but you have to know you're beautiful." Well put, Ms. Minaj! Her confidence especially radiates in this bright and bold fashion spread, where she sports a fun chin-length platinum blonde bob and *gasp* THE Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers inspired by Nicki Minaj herself. These leopard and neon green "Nicki" high-tops zip up the sides for easy removal AND it keeps the leather laces in tip-top shape. She paired her sneaks with an adorbs blue and orange striped Jeremy Scott cutout dress (um, we need to buy ASAP!) and equally bright blue-rimmed eyes and hot pink lipstick.

In another look, Nicki goes monochrome in lip-to-toe crimson red and said, "I'm inspired by color. It does something for my attitude. It just makes me happier." Exuding an old Hollywood chic vibe, Nicki wears a fur-trimmed Vionnet coat, circle Tom Ford sunglasses, Falke tights, and Christian Louboutin peep-toe pumps. So what DOES Nicki think every morning when she picks out an outfit? "I'll just wake up and feel I want to try something new and experiment," and when it comes to shoes she usually opts for booties. "I love booties. I feel more comfortable and sexier walking in them." When she's not in the spotlight she "tries to be as comfortable as possible. In my downtime, I'm the most low-key person in the world."
