Brad Pitt has still got it.

Ask anyone what the actor’s golden era was, and they’d likely point to his breakthrough in the early ‘90s and ensuing shot to fame as the decade’s reigning heartthrob. But over the years, Pitt’s gotten a little older, experimented with lots of different hairstyles (both facial and otherwise) and settled comfortably into fatherhood.

Lest you think that means he’s lost his sex appeal, though, you couldn’t be more mistaken. And we have the new photos to prove it.

The 51-year-old actor covers V Magazine’s winter issue, for which he ditched his beard and long hair and “channels ‘70s style icon Robert Redford.” In other words, the mag basically styled Pitt to look miraculously 20 years younger, and even MORE like Redford, who was already his celeb doppleganger.

The physical comparison between Pitt and Redford is spookily uncanny, especially when you consider how their careers have mirrored one another’s — they both had that clean-cut, All-American quality that made them Hollywood’s go-to heartthrobs of their respective generations.

Inside, Pitt spoke candidly about his wife, Angelina Jolie, and their six kids — and their lives sound shockingly… normal.

"At the end of the day, we get to be parents, greeting our lovely, crazy children and talking about their day, making sure they brush their teeth,” he said.

One family matter that wasn’t entirely conventional, though, was Pitt’s new film “By the Sea,” which found him being directed AND starring opposite his wife.

"If I'm going to work, I want to work with my wife," Pitt said about making the film, further praising her directing skills. "She's deceiving. Incredible intuitive, knife-sharp, and might I say, sexy at her post. I trust her with my life.”
