Lady Gaga Slapped Taylor Kinney The First Time They Kissed

The 'Chicago Fire' star dishes on his first time meeting fiancee Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney may be crazy in love now, but when they first met, things were quite the opposite.

Gaga and Kinney met in 2011, when he played her love interest in her "Yoü and I" video, and, after dating for years, they got engaged in February of 2015. When Kinney hit up "Watch What Happens Live" on Wednesday night, he told the story about the first time they met.

“I remember I went up, and we’re rolling, and I kissed her and she didn’t expect it,” Taylor said. “They cut, and she slapped me. And it was just awkward. And the next take, I just did it again and then she didn’t slap me. She didn’t slap me then. We had a good time. I think there was chemistry. It was a late shoot. We were shooting until 4 or 5 in the morning. We exchanged information. A few weeks went by and we kept in touch and then that’s that.”

With Gaga working hard on her next album and Kinney working on "Chicago Fire," he admitted that it's hard to plan a wedding, and it seems like there are a few details they still have to nail down.

“We’re so busy. We’ve been engaged for less than a year. So, we’ve been talking about whether it’s New York, Los Angeles, destination place, so we don’t have an exact date yet.”
