Yes, Ariana Grande And Lorde Actually Made A VMA Appearance
Just when you thought you saw all the VMA sightings possible on Sunday night, the after parties brought out even more of our faves who didn't make it to the show. Ariana Grande, Lorde, and Joe Jonas turned up to the Republic Records' private post-VMA celebration in West Hollywood, and some of the night's biggest celebs (hi, Selena!) decided to switch 'fits for their late-night hangs. Check out all the amazing after-party ensembles below!
Ariana Grande
Even though Ariana Grande didn't make an appearance during the actual show, she showed up to the after party in a Moschino ensemble that we've totally spotted on Katy Perry before. Unlike KP, though, Ari wore her hair in a half-up bun (BUNTY!!) and paired her T-shirt dress with over-the-knee boots. Werquueee.
Lorde
We also missed Lorde during the show, but she clearly knew about Miley's all-rainbow-everything-theme and showed up to the after party in a sheer technicolor dress. Also, hi lime green shoes!
Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner stuck to an all-nude Balmain look on the red carpet, but afterward, she switched into a seriously cut-out black bandage dress with the same strappy heels from earlier.
Iggy Azalea and Demi Lovato
Even though Demi Lovato kept on her same Nicolas Jebran dress from the show–a killer one, at that–Iggy Azalea decided to switch out of her white "Cool for the Summer" performance ensemble for a sleek, all-black look for the evening.
Nick and Joe Jonas
Nick Jonas also switched up his all-leather look into a more casual motorcycle jacket and tee outfit while hanging with his bro (and after party DJ) Joe.
The 'Bad Blood' Crew
Not all the "Bad Blood" ladies decided to change out of their VMA ensembles (see: Taylor still sporting her Ashish ensemb'), but Selena Gomez definitely decided to slip into a more comfy high-cut black number while Hailee Steinfeld opted for a sheer tee and pleather skirt.
