John Green is ready for the next chapter in his career: full-on movie-making.

The best-selling YA novelist has become a source material sensation for the film industry with his stories being adapted back-to-back-to-back -- first, there was "The Fault In Our Stars" which hit last year, and "Paper Towns" hits theaters this week. Meanwhile, "Looking For Alaska" is beginning to take shape for a 2016 release.

So, he's made some fast friends in the industry -- particularly, Temple Hill producers Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen, who worked on with him on "TFIOS" and "Paper Towns." And now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the producer pair has taken Green under their wings for a first-look deal with Fox 2000 which will expand Green's role to producer.

"We are elated to expand upon our already extraordinary relationship with John and feel honored to be able to enhance our creative horizons together," the studio's president Elizabeth Gabler said. "He is truly a force of nature and we are proud to be part of his world."

Indeed, Green himself said he is "so excited" about the change of scenery, but that he will still be a writer first and foremost.

In other words, he won't forget to be awesome. AND we'll get more John Green-related movies, so it's great news. Okay? Okay.
