You know you're a legit superhero when the founding fathers of the mutant movement want to join your team.

The latest celebs to join the Taylor Swift BFF Squad are none other than Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, who, rather than recruiting Taylor to the School for Gifted Youngsters, reached out to her on Twitter asking if they could be part of her bestie entourage.

Reciting T-Swift's lyrics in a public forum is obviously some sort of initiation ritual, because Taylor's reply makes it clear: The original stars of the "X-Men" franchise are in the club.

Meanwhile, this won't do anything to dispel the rumors that Taylor is possibly joining the "X-Men" franchise for realzies. Not only is she making connections with the original Magneto and Professor X, but she was spotted earlier this month hanging out with members of the current cast.

Add to that her ongoing friendship with Jennifer Lawrence, a.k.a. Mystique, and let's just say we won't be surprised if she ends up adding a spandex superhero jumpsuit to her wardrobe sometime soon.
