How Does Ian Ziering Feel About Lifetime’s ‘Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story?'

Is a reunion imminent for our fave West Beverly Hills High gang?

With reporting by Victoria McNally

With '90s TV reunions being all the rage these days, the seminal teen show of the era, "Beverly Hills, 90210," seems ripe for a comeback. But the West Beverly Hills High gang would rather reconnect in private -- for now, at least.

"We hang out and see each other and speak quite often, so though there might not be a filmed, organized reunion show, we're all still very friendly," Ian Ziering (aka Steve Sanders) told MTV News at San Diego Comic-Con while promoting the third installment of the campy "Sharknado" franchise. "When you work with someone for 10 years, you become like family."

While we happy to hear that he, Luke Perry and Jason Priestley are still bros after more than 15 years of being off the air, our heart still yearns for something more. What is Steve up to now? Are he and Janet still married? Did they have more kids? And how is he handling having a teenage daughter? OK, we guess this is what fanfiction is for, but if you do need your fix of "90210" drama, Zeiring says to look no further than Lifetime's "Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story."

"There's an unauthorized movie coming to Lifetime sometime in the near future," he said. "And that should be pretty entertaining." Uhh, that's clearly an understatement, right?

"Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!" premieres July 22.
