With "Mockingjay Part 2" signaling the end of the "Hunger Games" series, it's bound to be an emotional time for the cast -- but as actors, they've always gotta be looking for their next gig.

Liam Hemsworth's already filming his role in the "Independence Day" sequel, sure, but what if he set his sights into a galaxy far far away instead -- as the new Han Solo in Lucasfilm's recently announced "Star Wars" spin-off?

That's the idea MTV News floated by Hemsworth just after the "Mockingjay" panel at San Diego Comic-Con today (July 9) -- and not only was he excited to learn about the Chris Miller/Phil Lord-directed prequel for the first time, but he was also surprisingly ready for an impromptu audition.

"That’s a lot, man. That’s a lot to throw on me right now," he joked. But then, of course, he lets out a PERFECT angry reading of "Chewie!" Don't lie, Hemsworth, you'd be a great young Harrison Ford. After all, they've got the same smirk:

On the subject of "The Hunger Games" ending, Hemsworth was a bit more serious, and talked about just how emotional the final days on set were for everyone in the cast.

“We had a big emotional hug was a group hug... between Woody [Harrelson], myself, Jennifer [Lawrence] and Josh [Hutcherson]. There’s a photo of it somewhere," he said. "And after that, a few people did some speeches. I think Woody’s speech was where everyone cracked, because he went up and was making this speech and then he broke a little bit, and continued to break a little more. And I think everyone else was just -- it was a domino efffect. It was emotional.

Jeez, now WE'RE emotional. Talk about a domino effect there, Liam.
