"Rumors" isn't as legendary as the Fleetwood Mac album of the same name, but it certainly holds "classic" status in my heart. After all, my 14-year-old heart had plenty of room for Disney stars who just wanted to grow up and be themselves.

The track, which documents Lindsay Lohan's frustration with the media and paparazzi lying about her party lifestyle, came out during her transition from the Disney era to the MTV one -- the same time I was making that transition. I remember trying to memorize her rooftop dance sequence every time they played the video on "TRL." But, more than 10 years later, can I still recite the lyrics, just as I had done in front of my TV, tossing my hair around and wriggling on the couch?
