While we anxiously await for the arrival of Years & Years' debut album, Communion, later this summer, the synth poppers have gifted us with a brand new cut from the record, "Shine."

The fittingly polished track is bright as its name suggests, with shimmering synth grooves and a buzzy beat: the perfect foundation for some light, breezy crooning, courtesy of frontman Olly Alexander. It's just the sort of summery, anthemic electro-pop we can really get behind.

The British trio have been teasing us with the prospect of their debut album for quite some time now. Communion can finally be ours on June 22-- let the countdown begin.
