This weekend's big fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao brought boxing fans from all across the globe together. Whether you watched from Las Vegas or your neighborhood fight party, we're sure there was a fair amount of male bonding going on -- just ask T.I.

On Sunday, the day after Floyd won a unanimous decision against Pacman, Tip took to Instagram to congratulate Mayweather.

Congrats to Cuzz on another W... Preparation + Opportunity = Victory However u slice it... #NeverBeenAHater," the "Live Your Life" MC captioned under a photo of Floyd Mayweather that he has since deleted.

Vibe.com captured a screenshot of Tip's post before it disappeared, along with Floyd's response. "Thanks for the support! Keep up the good work," he wrote.

No big deal right? It's not like T.I. was the only rapper to congratulate Floyd. Wrong. It was a very big deal because last year the Atlanta rap star and the boxing champ were at odds.

The rumor is that the two men tangled after T.I.'s wife, Tiny, was hanging out with Mayweather. Tip then confronted Floyd in a Las Vegas Fatburger and some sort of altercation ensued, but that’s where details get sketchy.

When speaking with MTV News last June, T.I. didn't address Mayweather by name, but reminded us that he doesn't tolerate disrespect. “Respect man. Nobody, no time, nowhere gonna disrespect me, no exceptions. I don’t care who it is,” he told us then.

“Whoever has a problem understanding that, they’re going to experience the procedures that must be carried out.”

In July, Floyd denied that he and Tiny had any inappropriate involvement with each other.

Thankfully cooler heads have since prevailed and it looks like any ill will between the two is now water under the bridge.
