Kristen Stewart Was Nominated For A Razzie, But It's Not As Bad As You Think

The same cannot be said for Cameron Diaz.

Tomorrow morning (January 15), dozens of wide-eyed stars like Eddie Redmayne (metaphorically) and Emma Stone (literally) will wake up at the crack of dawn to await the call -- the Oscar call. But this morning, January 14, a gaggle of less-fortunate stars received a significantly crappier call from their managers, as the 35th Annual Razzie® Awards were announced with a bit less fanfare.

Kristen Stewart received one such call, but don't freak out -- the Razzies actually decided to go semi-positive for once, offering up some "Razzie Redeemer" nominations to actors who significantly improved their role selection in 2014. Stewart was nominated for "Camp X-Ray," and she joins the talented ranks of Ben Affleck (for "Gone Girl"), Jennifer Aniston (for "Cake"), Mike Myers (for his documentary "Supermensch"), and Keanu Reeves (for "John Wick") in her category.

So, yes, it might suck to see your girl KStew on the annual Razzie list, but at least this means that people are acknowledging that her work is improving year by year. She'd been nominated previously for Worst Screen Couple (for "New Moon" and both "Breaking Dawn" movies) and Worst Actress (for "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn - Part 1"), and she "won" Worst Actress in 2013 for both "Snow White and the Huntsman" and "Breaking Dawn - Part 2." In short, this is the best damn Razzie nomination that Stewart has ever had.

And if you still feel crappy about KStew being nominated, realize that at least she's not Cameron Diaz -- poor Cam got Worst Actress nods for "The Other Woman" and "Sex Tape," as well as a Worst Supporting Actress nomination for "Annie."
