Netflix Might Be Losing 'Doctor Who' And All Of Your Other Favorite BBC Shows
Sorry Anglophiles, but Netflix might be dropping all of your favorite BBC shows at the end of January.
Come January 31, British favorites "Doctor Who," "Luther," "Torchwood," and other popular BBC series are set to expire from the streaming service. But before you throw up your hands in despair, there is still hope Netflix will re-negotiate its contract with the BBC before the end of the month. But just in case, you might want to cancel all of your plans and spend the next few weeks binge-watching what left in your queue. (Pro tip: Don't blink!)
However, if an agreement isn't reached in time, many BBC programs -- including "Doctor Who" -- are be available on Amazon Prime in the meantime. (And really, if you haven't watched the Golden Globe-winning Amazon series "Transparent," now's the perfect time to sign up.)
Of course, if you simply can't even with the thought of a "Who"-less Netflix, you can sign a petition to save the beloved series from the chopping block and join over 27,000 Whovians in their cry for justice.
