Darren Criss Is Hosting Sunday's New Now Next Awards

Kristin Chenoweth will also perform on the telecast.

If you didn't already know what you were doing on Sunday night (December 7), now you know. You'll be spending it with Kristin Chenoweth and Darren Criss as you help them bid a fond farewell to the past 12 months at Logo TV's 2014 New Now Next Awards.

Tony-winning actress/singer Chenoweth will perform a song from her live CD, Coming Home and "Glee" star Criss will host the event, which kicks off Art Basel from Kimpton’s Surfcomber Miami, South Beach at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Sunday. Chenoweth joins previously announced performers Jessie J and Betty Who.

They'll both have help from original fun girl Cyndi Lauper, who will narrate the show, slated to feature special appearances from Nick Cannon, Tyler Glenn, "Looking" stars Raúl Castillo & Frankie Alvarez, "Girl Code"'s Nicole Byer, "Awkward"'s Molly Tarlov, as well as "Faking It"'s Katie Stevens and Michael J. Willett.

"What can I say, I'm really pumped to be able to go Miami with such an amazing group of performers, nominees and special guests," said Criss. "My New Now Next Award was one of the first honors I ever received, so it's a thrill to be back with Logo TV hosting what promises to be an exciting evening."

The 2014 New Now Next awards -- which will re-air on MTV on December 12 at 7 p.m. ET/PT -- not only honor the year's best new actors, artists, films and TV, but also help predict who and what you'll be talking about all next year.

"So many talented and diverse voices broke new ground in music, television, film, theater and the arts this year," said Chenoweth. "I am beyond excited to celebrate the latest and greatest at the New Now Next Awards with a special performance that infuses a new and modern twist into some classics."
