Skrillex's 'F---k That' Video Is Actually An Amazing Mini-Film—Watch
by Christopher Harris
Skrillex took the cinematic approach for his latest music video, "F--k That." The upbeat electronic dance tune serves as the soundtrack for an action-packed mini-film, directed by Nabil Elderkin.
The five minute flick follows a foreign fighter who gets released from prison. After he reconnects with his girlfriend, the man heads to an underground fight club, where things take a turn for the worse.
There's a love story, a car chase, a shootout, and a meet-up with the grim reaper. It all plays out to Skrillex's "F--k That," which heightens the drama in each scene.
The visual was shot in Morocco by Nabil, who has also produced quite a few great videos for artists like Kanye West and Frank Ocean. And earlier this year, he worked withNicki Minaj on her infamous "Lookin Ass N---a," video.
"F--k That" is featured on Skrillex' first studio album, Recess , which was released in March.
