Bill Murray is everywhere. He isn't so much a person as he is a life force, at this point. He is omnipresent. He is the embodiment of all things excellent and good and funny and...sweet? Yep, that too.

Like Beetlejuice, if you say his name three times, he appears – clad in a printed button-down and jeans, ice cream cone in hand. At least, that was the case when Los Angeles-based CVT Soft Serve owner Joe held an ice cream social in Murray's honor last week.

Ever the resourceful businessman/mega-Murray fan, Joe heard his "idol" was shooting a film in his neighborhood, and set up shop near the set.

Joe told Gawker, "I invited the entire neighborhood and the cast and crew of the film for free ice cream. Long story short, the guest of honor made it to the party and the rest is history. Like my dad always says 'You'll never dance with the pretty girl unless you ask.'"

Wise words, Joe's dad. (Although now we're picturing Bill Murray in an 80's-style prom dress – puff sleeves, v-shaped waistline and all.)

It's easy to lose count of all the delightful instances of random Bill Murray materializations – there was that time when he stumbled on a couple's engagement photo shoot and joined in, the time when he crashed a bachelor party and gave some sage advice, the time he took a selfie with Lady Gaga and David Letterman, the time he hung out with Wu-Tang and tended bar in Austin, the time he joined a kickball team's game in NYC, the time he sang with a karaoke party, "Lost in Translation"-style...the list goes on.
