Live Beefs Up U.S. Tour Itinerary, Preps New Video

Live has just added a handful of college dates to its upcoming U.S. tour, which will also see the band make up two shows that were postponed due to illness late last year.

As we reported last month, the alt rockers were forced to push back their December 30 show in Asbury Park, New Jersey as well as their homecoming New Year's Eve show in Hershey, Pennsylvania when frontman Ed Kowalczyk came down with a respiratory infection. The Asbury Park date was then moved to February 8, and the Hershey show to February 4 to fit into the group's upcoming tour (see [article id="1431324"]"Illness Forces Live To Cancel String Of Year-End Dates"[/article]).

Now the band has added another five stops to its itinerary (which starts January 21 in Detroit), adding dates at colleges across the Northeast. The trek is the latest in support of the group's fourth album, "The Distance To Here," which debuted at number four on the "Billboard" album chart up its release last

October.

The band hopes to take the album even further with the upcoming release of "Run To The Water," the second single from "The Distance To Here." The band recently shot a video for the track with director Martin Weisz (who also handled the clip for the album's first single, "The Dolphin's Cry"), and the song should hit radio later this month.
