Blige, K-Ci & JoJo, Others Bring Holiday Cheer
Mary J. Blige, K-Ci & JoJo, Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, and Chante Moore are among the artists kicking in traditional holiday tunes for "My Christmas Album.
Jesse Powell, Rahsaan Patterson, Cherokee, Ametria, Youth Edition, and Aaron & Damion Hall also contribute to the collection, which will hit stores on November 2. The album will see these artists work through standards like "Noel," "O Come All Ye Faithful," "O Holy Night," "Silent Night," and "Little Drummer Boy.
My Christmas Album" also features instrumental interludes between two tracks, performed by high school students in the Multi-School Jazz Band, a group of young musicians from Los Angeles-area schools.-- John Gill
